Meet Britany

Widowed Grief Coach & Post Traumatic Growth Mentor

Through my grief, I have evolved into a person I never knew I could be...

... our grief does not define who we are, you make the rules in your own healing journey.

Navigating widowhood and solo-parenting is the hardest thing I have encountered in my life. Loss and grief are a part of life and expected, but at 31 I never thought I would become a widow. I felt lost, scared, lonely, anxious and everything in between. I pieced together my grief journey through multiple mentors, psychologists, therapists and experts.

Eventually, I realized I didn't fit the typical grief mold because typical is never a word that should be used in loss. The foundations of where I am today were laid by grief mentors and other widows, the people who had the unwanted, raw knowledge of my experience because they too were widows.

Through my struggles of grief I have realized I am not the only one defining a new future at such a young age. Helping other young widows build their grief path brick by brick gives me hope that we can all find happiness and evolve through our tragedies.
